Our staff will work with you on career exploration and help prepare you for a career in the trades.
Referrals to Employer
The Apprenticeship Office will strive to maintain a database of employers seeking apprentices and tradesmen for job openings.
Apprenticeship Resource Centre
The Resource Centre will maintain up to date information on Apprenticeship services and trade sector information that would be helpful for clients seeking information on Apprenticeship. There are also computer stations available for research and seeking employment opportunities on line.
Job Coaching and Mentoring
The Apprenticeship Office staff will work with clients and employers to ensure that barriers to employment are minimized and that a clear understanding of expectations and apprenticeship process are explained to both client and employers.
Resume’ and Cover Letter Assistance
Staff at the Apprenticeship Resource Centre will review your resume and cover letters and work together with you to develop a resume and cover letter that best presents your skills to prospective employers.
